Apparently I have gall stones. I had a test last week for this. Then on Saturday afternoon (when no self-respecting doctor is in his office) I got a letter referring me to a surgeon. Well, I still have 2 more tests to go and no one had called me to tell me anything and I went nuts. I worried myself to death. Is it cancer? I saw something on one of the pictures that was in an area that I thought was my kidney and it recorded a and b as being 6.59 cm and 2.91 cm respectively. Do you know what a worry-wart's mind can do with that? Then I get the referral!
I called first one doctor and then the other this morning. Finally I learned I have gall stones. Rob say surgery is a must. I don't want surgery of any kind. I had enough when I was young. Gimme a break already! I made the appointment, but am not happy about going. Give me some encouragement, guys! Tell me that these things will go away and nobody has to alter my body - too fat, by the way - in any way.
I want to go work on my new house. In fact, I'm going over now to take pictures of them doing the demolition before the re-do. I'll post some later.
Well, God must have a purpose for all of this. Who am I to question?

Good luck with your surgery. I hope everything gets better soon so you can concentrate on your new house. :o)

Does it have to be surgery? I know that with some gall stones they can smash them up with lasers (I think it is lasers) and then they just pass through the body. If you do have to have the op then the best of luck.
Go to the doc's. I work in an ER, any consult w/ a surgeon will result in a surgery synopsis... but honestly go and see what they have to say, don't mess with yourself, the ramifications on other organs would be bad news if it's needed...
I wish you the best , always try for alternative, but go and be safe. This is all said with kindness, i promise! :) Ivy
Think we need to encourage each other. Am in the same boat for different reasons. When we have finished running around like headless chickens we will both go and get surgery done. Deal?

At least you know it`s nothing more serious. Best of luck ..... Sandra x
ohhh, God's in control. You know that . . . it's good to be reminded sometimes. I don't know why sometimes these things happen but hopefully things can be easily and smoothly done. Keep us posted!!

Good luck on your surgery. I had mine removed 6 monthes ago and it wasn't as bad as I had imagined. They go thru the belly botton now, so it's done as day surgery. Check in, in the a.m and check out in the p.m. The scar is very small. I can still wear a two piece bathing suit. The scar has already faded greatly. The best part is I can eat normally again and I don't have any more pain. It was definitely worth it God bless you. I will keep you in my prayers.

I'll be looking forward to the pictures of the home. It will be fun to see before and after pictures. :-) As for the surgery, I will keep you in my prayers. With all your j-land friends praying, I know you will feel a difference. How do I know? Because I had a situation come up and everyone offered their prayers and I FELT the prayers.

Penny, I have never heard of a doc giving you results by mail and referring you to a surgeon by mail. How scary!! My mind would have given myself cancer as well! LOL So, I had my gall bladder taken out about ten years ago. It was bad at all from what I remember. I had it done laprascopically. I only have a 2 or 3 inch scar a a couple smaller ones. I remember feeling so much better after it was done. Do you have any symptoms? I remember feeling so sick before I had mine out. Could it be causing your gastric problems? Take care and remember that God is in contol! Let us know your surgery date! Love ya, honey! xox
AHHHHHHH Ma have no worries. I had my gallbladder remover 3 years ago & I felt better within a week or so. It was a very simple procedure & the scars don't even show now. Trust that you will be happy that you got it done.
I love you Mom, Heather
Penny, I am praying for you. Email me or call me when you can. -Krissy

I am trying to contact a few of the people who have cancer and let them know
about Dr. Budwig's (a 7 time nobel peace prize nominee), Cancer Answer. Her
methods have restored 100's of 1,000's back to health after STANDARD treat-
ments failed. SHE WAS BLACKBALLED BY THE CANCER INDUSTRY BECAUSE SHE REFUSED TO USE RADIATION OR CHEMOTHERAPIES. Many were so far gone that they had to have enemas to get the substance into them as they could no longer eat. There are many other things that this program helps a person do as control their weight, calm their nerves etc. I am sending you a couple of the over 500 websites on her works so you may read of the people listed here and how they
were considered dead because standard treatments had failed. I do not belong to AOL and I keep getting locked out. Please pass this message along to help others. The websites are:
PS. THERE IS ALSO INFORMATION ON THE AOL SITE THAT WILL PUT A BEDFAST PERSON FROM ARTHRITIS BACK TO WALKING.

PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED BY THIS MESSAGE AND HELP SOMEONE ELSE BY
SHARING IT. THANKS. There are over 1700 on this journal and if you are on it two or three times please forgive me if I hit you more than once.
